Besides google searching, the most important tool I use for google is google docs. It’s a free online word tool that stores documents into the cloud that is free. Anyone can also edit (that I allow) and see my documents.

Question: How could the banks make an ATM a better computer to use?
Answer:
Banks could make an ATM a better computer to use by adding more security features, like an eye scanner, or a fingerprint scanner, or an added phone verification instead of using a PIN number only. The ATM could also store information to the cloud or a USB instead of printing a receipt.
1. Roll those hands! - Typing on your keyboard for a long period of time on a daily basis can cause carpal tunnel syndrome. This leads to major pain caused by compression of a major nerve in your wrist. For an easy fix roll your wrists clockwise/counterclockwise every single hour. Also, do the same with your ankles and shoulders to reduce stiffness.
2. Stretch your chest! - Sitting down all the time can stiffen your joints. A great way to solve this is to stretch your arms across and pull your back. After a long session doing this exercise will feel very refreshing.
3. Roll and twist your head! - Long sessions on a computer can strain your neck causing discomfort or pain. Once and a while, it's great to tilt your head side to side, back, and front, and twist your head. Be careful, though as doing this the wrong way can cause more pain.
4. Lift those legs! - Sitting down for a long time may cause your legs to fall asleep. Once in awhile lift your legs for a long period of time. This will easily make you more healthy while sitting down.
5. Twist and Strech your Arms! - For a long period of time, your arms can get a little tired. Place your hands on your shoulder so that your elbows are sticking out. Now, as if you were rowing a boat start moving, stretching, twisting your arms.
Ergonomic Tips for your Workstation!
Monitor Position: - Always have your monitor at head level so you don't have to tilt your head up or down to face the monitor.
- Place your monitor at a good distance so you don't have to strain your eyes while looking at the monitor
Keyboard/Mouse - Make sure you're not reaching for your keyboard/mouse or hunching back to Position type. This can hurt your back while doing work.
- Having your wrist properly placed on the mouse will help with stiffness. Make sure you're not reaching your mouse from the side or have it in an awkward position.
Chair - Never be hunched over when you're on your computer. Relax and lay on the back of your chair. This will help with long sessions, as you'll reduce discomfort from your back
- Adjust the height and distance from the computer so you'll have a better computer experience, as this will help with the rest of your setup.
1. Why are the Big Companies releasing all these new gadgets now?
2. What can we do if we want to reduce eWaste?
Answers!
1. All of the big companies are releasing these new gadgets now because every year they need to make an upgrade to their old device. Like Apple and Samsung, they need to update their phones every year so they could upgrade their hardware and software, with a fresh new price. But with every release they try to limit their features so they could save it for the next year. They do this because they know consumers always want the new and latest device, and this has been working for years.
2. To reduce eWaste we can learn to throw them away where it can be recycled and be used for a new electronic device. But also limit your upgrade for a new device. If you have the iPhone 6s, do you think you really need the iPhone 7? Also learning how to use your devices properly like keeping them healthy can reduce the amount of eWaste because of using them most efficiently. So remember being efficient and using the most out of your device will greatly reduce eWaste. It's all about your ecological footprint too.
Some systems may have 1 GB or 2 GB of memory. By increasing your memory to 4 GB or 8 GB will improve your computer's performance and health. Adding more memory will allow the computer to use real memory rather than virtual memory which can affect your computer's performance.
Don't update to the latest software!
Sometimes always updating to the latest software can slow your system. If you're running an older system chances are running a new update can be a little slim. If you don't have a lot of memory like 1 GB or 2 GB of RAM, then that could lead to problems like, slower speeds and not being able to use the software at all! Always check your manufacturers recommendations before updating. There are some exceptions like internet browsers, Java, virus protection software, and a PDF reader. But things like games, hardware demanding editing software like Adobe Premier may stress your system. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Check before you install/download!
Like most people whenever you download or install an application you tend to quickly click the "Ok" button and continue on your day or maybe skip the "Terms and Conditions" page (well, we all pretty much do that). But always reading the description of whatever it is you're trying to install or download is a good idea. Some software may have a "Bug" list where the applications might have some problems or a "Time Trial" or fake download where it tricks you into downloading something else. There are many types scenarios where this could happen so alway read into things before you start downloading and installing software especially some weird websites with ads popping out.
Provide enough power to your system!
In some cases, if you have a computer, laptop or a phone and they start shutting down randomly then they might have some serious problems. For a computer, make sure you're proving enough power so that the computer can run perfectly stable. Check if your outlet is providing enough power or switch to another outlet if the one you're using doesn't work. For a laptop and a phone or a device that has a battery just make sure the battery is working. If you're experiencing issues it's best to visit a tech store where they can either replace or fix the battery. If that doesn't work then you may have to speak to your manufacturer for a full replacement.
Save yourself from the Cold Reboot and the Warm Reboot!
Probably one of the most obvious but the deadliest is the cold reboot and the warm reboot. Basically, the cold reboot is pulling off a plug off a computer when it is on or anything that depends on a plug to be powered on like a toaster or a microwave. If something is turned on and relies on a plug connected to an outlet NEVER unplug it, this could be very dangerous for you and the computer! Last is the warm reboot. Not as deadly as the cold reboot, the warm reboot is when a user forces the system to shut down when it is frozen or when it appears to be crashing. If this happens then always be patient, if you're on the web researching for your large project and the website that you log on appears to freeze or seems to be really slow, then find the problem. Just wait a bit for the website to catch on. If you're done waiting (on a computer) switch through the tabs by CTRL + TAB button or the apple key and tab. Scroll through the tabs by clicking tab while holding CTRL or the apple key. Finally, if this doesn't work do the CTRL + ALT + DELETE method, then turn off the system from there.
OmniTouch almost like a smartphone is a wearable system where you can interact with almost any hard surface (like your hand or a piece of paper) and use it like a touchscreen on a phone. The OmniTouch tracks your fingers and determines when you have pressed on something or if you're hovering over a surface. The OmniTouch doesn't need to be calibrated to function before use. The OmniTouch is still being developed and is being tested by volunteers to tap and draw to test the accuracy of the system. For now, there are some applications that can be used for the OmniTouch such as, emailing, calling, playing music, text messaging, and drawing.
Just like the OmniTouch, the g-speak is mostly used indoors and is not portable as the OmniTouch. Since it is less portable it has a greater advantage of having a hologram type experience. Using specially made gloves that have sensors on it, the user can interact with multiple screens without having to physically touch it. It takes full advantage of the area around the user allowing the user to move her/his hands in any direction to control the program that he/she is using. Also allowing gestures to be used for multiple interactions. You can drag, zoom in and out, and make gestures to have a wide range of inputs that can't be done on a regular computer. Programs like a map of the whole world or the use for security benefits from this special technology. More Information can be found here: http://www.oblong.com/g-speak/ Leap Motion
Finally, Leap Motion. Unlike the last two interfaces, this is more accessible to the market for around $80. Leap Motion has been around for a while is now being implemented into VR, like the new Oculus Rift, and the HTC Vive from Steam. The Leap Motion is a combination of both the OmniTouch and the g-speak, using your hands as an input to interact with the program and the holographic feel by using a monitor to swipe, drag, zoom in and out, and pinch. You can't use your hands or a book, and you don't have as much as different inputs like the g-speak. Think of it like a consumer version offering a gimmicky experience. You can draw, play games, have more control on programs that uses more inputs than a regular mouse, flip, and spin things around. The Leap Motion is the next step to the way we interact with things.
