1. All of the big companies are releasing these new gadgets now because every year they need to make an upgrade to their old device. Like Apple and Samsung, they need to update their phones every year so they could upgrade their hardware and software, with a fresh new price. But with every release they try to limit their features so they could save it for the next year. They do this because they know consumers always want the new and latest device, and this has been working for years.

2. To reduce eWaste we can learn to throw them away where it can be recycled and be used for a new electronic device. But also limit your upgrade for a new device. If you have the iPhone 6s, do you think you really need the iPhone 7? Also learning how to use your devices properly like keeping them healthy can reduce the amount of eWaste because of using them most efficiently. So remember being efficient and using the most out of your device will greatly reduce eWaste. It's all about your ecological footprint too.
